O.k. we needed the rain, but I am over it already. I love rain storms, but in tiny increments like an afternoon shower or when it starts raining at 8 p.m. and quits by 7 a.m. the next morning, but this is driving me nuts. It has been raining non stop since Sunday night and not just some little light rain, oh no it has been heavy torrential down pour rain with 30 mph winds or higher with the gusts and get this they are saying it will be like this til Friday. It is like tropical storm season in May….ughhhhhh…. My back is hurting and the sun is not shining. Ahhhhh, I just got a call, my nail appointment had to be rescheduled due to flooding..Nooooooo (just playin Tam I know it had to be done)…. I need some sunshine people…
If you look out the window you will see this:
or this
you say you would like a night view well here ya go (could not capture the rain due to the need for a new camera –hint hint Brad):
Oh a view from the car while picking up Bub you say, I got some of those too:
And here is what I have been listening too since Sunday Night:
When it rains I either sleep, just following Gingers Lead and all:
or eat and I tend to want donut type products. I know it is not on my 30x5 plan, but I just can’t help it—if you could put a word in that I want the rain to stop maybe I will quit eating it. Monkey Bread – Yummy stuff.
Bub is enjoying playing video games, but he too is tiring from the rain and is ready for the great outdoors.
Look at the little project they made at school yesterday, fitting for this rainy week, it is in a plastic bag hanging on his bathroom window :)
I just want to be singing this song right now --

ReplyDeleteI so feel your pain. It's finally sunny here but good grief, it feels more like early April than late May. I ran across this link about giving up sugar today and thought I'd share it w/you. Hope it helps you....I'm going to give it a try. Blessings, SusanD

BTW, thanks for the birthday wishes. Belated or not, the are welcomed. -- Hope the water tip works for you. I pour my water into a cup and drink it that way instead of from those bottles. It seems to go down easier for me. :)
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm - that monkey break looks delicious! I love monkey bread...it brings back fond memories of my childhood. My mom use to make it for us before school in the morning.
ReplyDeleteHere's to hoping you get some sunshine soon.
Hi Jenny,
ReplyDeleteSorry your back is hurting, and the rain "yuck". weather here is not to great,it hasn't rained for two days but the fields just dried out enough for my husband to do any farming, he has just started today, usually he is about half done by now.,the later he gets the crops planted the less he yields. the less income, and it really throws the grain market out of balance.
by the way my name is Jenny Lynne also.
You have to click on the word video. I haven't learned how to put them on my blog properly. I just talked to a friend down there and she said it was raining cats and dogs. All I see is water. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure God will send you a rainbow soon followed by some sun!
ReplyDeleteOh I don't think I could ever get sick of the rain. Mama likey. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Jenny! Email me and I will help you with your slideshow. :)
