Mama Kat @ Mama's Losin' It
Choose a prompt that inspires you most. Write about it and then go to Mama Kat’s page and link up on Thursday. I am doing them all….
The Prompts:
1.) Share a love letter.
What are those??? Just playin’ honey….no really huh?
2.) Memorial Day Weekend plans?? Do share!
I am hoping this rain clears up and we can go to the beach or have a barbeque and go swimming in the pool.
3.) List ten things you are currently sick of.(inspired by Jenny)
School (I love my child’s school, I am just ready for summer)
Homework (my child complains about it daily)
Complaining (I know I do it a lot too, but that’s different )
Vacuum Cleaner (just because & it hurts my back)
Dishwasher (does the dishes but I have to unload it therefore not my friend)
Laundry Basket (no need for explanation, it holds my arch nemesis - Laundry)
Washing Machine (well it does do all the work, but I still have to load it with laundry so yes I am a little irritated with it)
Dryer (because it holds the arch nemesis that I have to fold and it beeps at me way too much)
Have I mentioned Rain and Gail Force Winds ????
4.) Put an outfit together using pictures you found online and show us what you'd LIKE to be wearing today. (inspired by Lace) I know I did not exactly follow the rules on this one,but I was close right?? I could not find a picture of a bathing suit I liked.
I would love to be in a bathing suit laying out in the pool drinking a nice cool beverage, but instead I think I need to get me one of these cute rain coats and some rain boots to match. While I am at it I might need to get a boat and maybe some hot cocoa to go with my Monkey Bread, while I wait for the great flood to stop. I think I just saw Noah wave to me as he was passing by.
SunShower Raincoat
Land's End
was $79.50 now $55.65
5.) What have you been too busy to pay attention to? (inspired by Chris)
The beauty that we live in, I am so tied up in this whole rain mess, that I forget how much is it helping us. Like I told Bub yesterday, God must have thought we needed a little cleaning. I know when all this has cleared up everything with be so green and pretty. It has made me sit down and not run around as much and while I hate being cooped up at least I am resting my back, which I would not be doing if the sun was shining..
Those are cute. Lands End has some great stuff. I used to shop with them.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog from Mama Kat and love it! I can relate to your list very well, especially the parts of keeping the house in order. Great list and post!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to wear that rain coat ALL Summer long instead of a bathing suit! : ). Very pretty. We are SO ready for school to be out at our house too. HURRY please! : )
ReplyDeleteGirl!! I could not agree more with the whole dishwasher ordeal. I hate, loathe and dispise emptying that silly dishwasher. In fact, that's one of my son's jobs! ;)
ReplyDeleteCute rain jacket. For awhile rain boots were the fashion statement around here!
Have a great day.
It's funny I was reading your post yesterday and although I get bummed out by too many days of rain, I kept hearing my husbands voice (he's studying horticulture) saying how necessary it is for everything.
ReplyDeleteLove the rain jacket. Hope your back feels better.
This is great. Lovin'g that rain jacket.
ReplyDeletethat is a very cute rain coat.
ReplyDeleteNice rain coat. I actually would be happy for rain around here. We are in a 2 alarm drought situation that is on the news constantly - telling us new rules and regulations. 5 minute showers, don't water lawn, and sprinklers must be fixed. Just RAIN already!
