The Challenge:
For this challenge turn your cameras mode dial to program mode (P). The camera will pick the shutter speed and aperture for you, you will just be adjusting the ISO. Try taking pictures in different ISOs. Remember no flash!
I used Lolli and Beth’s suggestions and did a toy photo shoot
I took these photos with my Sony Cybershot DSC-H20
(the 100’s seemed to me to be a little fuzzy, while the other 2 settings were clearer)
ISO 100
ISO 400
ISO 1600
Fun Fact : ISO stands for "International Organization for Standardization" and is taken from the Greek word "isos", meaning equal. See www.iso.org. ISO has replaced the older ASA designation.
Great examples! I love the Godzilla shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat examples to share. I just got a new SuperFly superzoom cam so I enjoy seeing other people's pics too.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love the fact that you took the same shot in different ISOs. It's fun to experiment, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThank you, I never knew what the ISO function was for, but I will be using a lot more now :)
ReplyDeleteLet me guess you have boys?! Those types of toys look REALLY familiar!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.
that is interesting...i am always trying to learn more about my camera.
ReplyDeleteI think the ISO 400 set turned out the best. I like how you grouped the 3 different ISO sets.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the ISO 400 seems the clearest to me... Shamoo is my favorite. But I live in central Florida, and Seaworld is one of our favorite places. :-)
