Weekend Happenings

This weekend was pretty much all about sports… My son has decided to take up soccer so Saturday and Sunday we had games to go to. It was crazy windy this weekend so needless to say I froze out there and felt like I was getting wind burn. He is loving it and with a little bit more practice I think he will be a good soccer player.

After the Saturday game it was off to my nieces baby shower… I am gonna be a Great Aunt ya’ll.

After the Sunday Game hubs went off with my Dad to purchase a new Basket Ball Hoop, we had one of those small little tykes ones that you can extend but Bub was well past the age for that thing. We did not tell him til it was all put together and he was super excited and even went out and played some this morning before school.

It takes a village to put together one of these things, for a second there they thought they had put it together backwards.

And just because I don’t think I put this up at Halloween. Bub had to do a book report and dress up as the character, that is pretty much the only way kids are allowed to dress up at school for Halloween and he went as a father penguin with his baby chick. The book report was on the book Penguin Chick by Betty Tatham.

Oh and this one, Bub made a fort with my snuggie I got for Christmas, which Ginger thinks is hers so she decided to drag all her toys over to it and take a nap.
