Snack Time
This week question is what are some of your favorite healthy snacks?
1. Baked chips of any variety
2. Flat Earth, baked veggie crisps…they are good and they have 1/2 serving of Veggie in each serving. My son even likes them.
It is a website by Frito Lay “where women can feel supported in their feelings about diets, beauty, snacking, exercise and body confidence.”It has cute comic strips and snacking ideas.
3. Almonds or Peanuts
4. Carrots with Light Ranch, I can’t do the fat free ranch it’s gross..just keepin it real… or I mix low fat sour cream with a dried mix. I like mixes from Archer Farms at Tarjay and Tastefully Simple

Pennies Go A Long Way
Michelle Renee Bernard was kind enough to let our school use her water color of cotton candy for our schools penny drive. We are in desperate need of a pavilion for our playground and we have raised over $1000.00 already…WooToTheWhoo ☺
Check out Michelle’s blog:

Here are some of the pics. The top 6 classes to raise the most money gets to have a cotton candy party.

Monday Grrrrrrr
My day started off with dropping a can of coke in the school parking lot and then it proceeded to spew coke from the bottom of the can everywhere so I am grabbing paper towels like a mad woman to try and stop it, finally got a cup and poured what was left of my drink in it…Grrrrrr
Then I leave the school and come home. I step out of my car to find my headlight assembly dangling by a few wires from my car.
Niiiiiice.
Grrrrrrr, I think I should go back to bed and try again tomorrow.

Exposed
Tuesday, May 4, 2010
So True and yep I’m still alive ☺
If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8
Feet and Is entirely open at the top, the
Bird, in spite of its Ability to fly, will
Be an absolute prisoner. The reason is
That a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground
With a Run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space
To run, as is its habit, It will not even
Attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner
For life in a small jail with no top.
THE BAT:
The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a
Remarkable nimble creature in the air,
Cannot take off from a level place.
If it is placed on the floor or flat
Ground, all it can do is shuffle about
Helplessly and, no doubt, painfully, until it
Reaches some slight elevation from which it can
Throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it
Takes off like a flash.
THE BUMBLEBEE:
A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will
Be there until it dies, unless it is taken out.
It never sees the means of escape at the
Top, but persists in trying to find some way out
Through the sides near the bottom.. It
Will seek a way where none exists, until it
Completely destroys itself..
PEOPLE:
In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and
The bumblebee. We struggle about with all our
Problems and frustrations, never realizing that
All we have to do is look up! That's the
Answer, the escape route and the solution to any
Problem! Just look up.
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up!
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and
Trust in our Creator who loves us.
