Just popping in just in case you received the Ulta 20% off coupon that includes prestige and you are still pondering what to use it for.
I tend to always get limited edition sets when they include the prestige items in their coupons. I guess cause I know I will always be able to get the other stuff but I may never find certain products again and usually they are at a better deal.
Anyway enough rambling.
During my shopping trip on Tuesday I picked up the Lorac Royal Eyeshadow Palette Set I have been eyeing since it was released back in October.
It was $38 and with the coupon and some reward point money I got it for $28.96.
I had some money from Christmas because I had to return some items so this was really a late Christmas present from the hubs. That’s my story and I ‘m sticking to it!
After I got it I did some swatching which I forgot to take pics of and there is a blue in this palette similar to the new semi sweet chocolate bar palette but way better pigmented and a gold that is similar too.

There is also a blue in the duchess one as well that is similar especially when applied to the eyes! (No swatch cause I suck!)

It actually has a lot of colors that are comparable to the semi sweet palette and the new lorac unzipped gold I think.

They are all great palette’s but if you want to spend a little less and get basically some of the same colors that are just as pigmented if not more then I would definitely check to see if your Ulta still has this set before your coupon expires on the 31st.

Well I woke up at 3:30 am with another headache.
How everyone wants to start their day am I right?
Just call me the weather girl cause you guessed it there is a front coming through.
I took 2 Excedrin and waited for some relief. It did get dull after about a hour but at a hour and a half I was irritated and pulled out the essential oil blend I just ordered last week from plant therapy.
I dabbed it on my temples, behind my ears and on my neck and waited.
After about 15 minutes I went into that kinda of headache haze. Where you have relief but you still know it’s there lurking but that was enough relief to help me sleep a couple hours.
When I woke up AGAIN to Tilda in my face, she doesn’t understand personal space, I felt good enough to start on a spreadsheet for my son’s school. I have been putting it off for a week hoping for one good day of no headache to do it.
That obviously was never going to happen and time was running out for it to be done.
Soooo
I got my cup of coffee yes it is Christmas penguins no judging and started on the spreadsheet only to realize some of the lists were not in alphabetical order and my spreadsheet was. Doh
After I got that all sorted out. My headache was coming back. So I decided to experiment and take one Excedrin instead of 2 and use the oil blend.
I was surprised I felt better in less then 30 minutes. Knock on Wood this may be a life saver.
After 7 hours with an hour break for the midday headache and a coffee mug change the spreadsheet is finally done. I need to learn to start saying NO!
The headache never came back full force. I still feel like it is lurking but I feel good. I can’t be positive it will work every time since I just started using it but this essential oil blend might be my new headache reliever thing.
I am still going to go see the doctor since this has been going on for far to long 23 days to be exact this time around just to make sure I don’t have anything else going on.
But for tonight I am going to be thankful that I feel good.
Good Night
I started my morning off on the treadmill.
I am hoping doing a little more walking will help my back and my headaches. If I loose a couple pounds that will be a added bonus.
After my little workout I decided to tackle the oil spot in the garage. My car had a bad leak for a while but we got it fixed for the most part and the rug that was under my car was nasty so I threw it out and googled how to clean up the oil residue underneath it. I put down some litter and a little bit of dry laundry detergent and let it sit while I worked on the guest room some more.
First up moving my white dresser that I have had since I was a teenager from that space in the garage to the hallway. I had to vacuum the heck out of it first.
That thing is a beast. Thank goodness for those furniture mover things.
Next I went and moved all the random stuff that still needed to be organized in front of the closet so I could rearrange furniture.
Ughhhhh I seriously wanted to close the door and call it a day at this point.
But I still had the beast to deal with.
Tilda was a big help not. I got the dresser turned how I wanted it in the room then moved it to the hallway and realized.
HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM.
It took a lot of maneuvering to get it into the hallway.
I finally got it where it needed to be and went to move the book shelf and I think the pictures are self explanatory.
It literally went from one shelf falling to the whole thing collapsing in a matter of minutes.
I went and got my ole friend skinny cow and took a deep breath. May have said a few choice words!!
Stacked everything that I had not sorted and closed the door.
DEFEATED
Then I walked back to the garage and decided to punish myself some more.
Swept up the litter/detergent concoction.
Then put some more detergent down and sprayed it with water and scrubbed with a toothbrush because I could not find my scrub brush. Seriously who did I tick off today!!
All clean and with the old rug down from Bub’s room in case we have anymore oil mishaps.

My body can’t take anymore today.
Where is my Motrin and heating pad.
