Tarte Eye Will Eye Essential Set
Still working on the play at my son’s old elementary school but I wanted to pop this up since this probably won’t be in stock much longer!
Nouveau Cheap posted yesterday about all the things hitting the sale page on Sephora’s site she is a bad influence. There were a lot of Tarte products but the Tarte Eye Will Eye Essentials set caught my eye because I have been wanting to try Tarte’s shadows and I did not want another big palette and I have also been wanting to try the lash primer and smolder eye liners.
This set was on sale for $16 which is a awesome deal. The normal price for the lash primer and small lights, camera, lashes mascara is $20 in the little sample section near the counter in Sephora and the liner is $19.00. So right there you are already getting a great deal.
This set is still available on the site as of right now. (7pm 5/20/15)
The beauty and the box eyeshadow quads go for $22 on Tarte’s site but I could not find them on Sephora or Ulta’s site so they might be discontinuing this type of packaging?? But again great deal to try out their shadow.
I did not open the mascara cause I already have a full size open cause it is my all time favorite mascara. The wand looks like this ↓
I have not tried any of the below products because they literally just came in but I wanted to get this up and swatched in case anyone saw this deal and wanted to see what the products looked like.
MultipeEYE lash enhancing primer
Skinny smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof eyeliner in slate.
Beauty & the box eyeshadow quad in Sky Dive, Love More, Recycle & 5K

It took several swipes to get the pigmentation but they are definitely pretty. You might just have to pack them on more then like a Lorac or Urban Decay shadow.
So if you are wanting to try this brand and you have flash shipping I would definitely get this deal!!

May Ipsy Bag
The bag is super cute and I love that the lining is a waterproof material just in case you have any spills.
Now for the goodies:
I did not take individual pictures of the Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave In Conditioner which a full size retails for $20 or the Amie Morning Dew Matte Finish Moisturizer which is a UK brand and retails for 4.95 pounds which is $7.78 in the US (if google is correct ). I have not tried either yet but I will report back if I end up loving them.
First up is a water proof mineral gel eyeliner from BelláPierre Cosmetics. It is a really nice black eye liner and goes on so creamy so you can smudge it out but once it sets it is not going anywhere anytime soon. As you can see below it sets pretty quick so you have to work quick and I wiped it off with a makeup wipe and washed my hands several times and it was still faintly there hours later. A full size retails for $14.99.
Next up is a tapered blending brush from Luxie Beauty. It is soft and blends really nicely. You can never have too many blending brushes am I right…. It retails for $12.00.
Lastly I received a 24/7 glide on lip pencil in ozone from Urban Decay which is a waterproof lip liner that primes your lips for lipstick or glosses and 2 samples of the new Revolution high color lip glosses. The full size lip liner retails for $16.00 and the glosses retail for $22.00.
I am not gonna lie I love the pencil but I really wish they would have sent the glosses in a tiny tube with a little doe foot applicator because it is a bit of a mess and you have to use a lip brush. Then once their opened it is a pain to store them without them getting all funky when they are in packaging like this. That is my only complaint with this bag though and the gloss samples were a bonus to the pencil so I guess I can’t complain too much LOL!
I actually did a little swatch fest of these week before last in Ulta so you can see the Bittersweet swatch right here below the orange shadow!
↓
These are long wearing and it took three washes with soap in the Ulta bathroom and a makeup wipe just to get it to be this faded so that is a bonus. But they are very thick and a little sticky so I am not sure if they are for me. They sure are pretty though!
I hope you have a happy Monday!

Blog Slacker
Dang I have not blogged in almost a month !!!
My excuse is the end of April and all of May are always a busy time at school with different events so I am either up there or running around like a mad woman trying to get stuff done in between.
Here are just a few pictures from the past few weeks.
Lots of Starbucks. The new Smore’s Frappe is soooo good. I don’t get whip on top cause I think it is overkill and I get the low fat version so I don’t feel so guilty for drinking so much of it LOL!!
Also lots of Target shopping of course ↑ notice the red bag behind the Starbucks!!
~
Game nights. I need to get some more family games but I can’t find any I like that much.
~
We went to the zoo on one of the nice cooler days. Those days are long gone I am afraid. We went from spring to hotter then hades in one day.
~
The animals have been doing what they do best. Beg for food and sleep.
Oh and breaking out in their summer rash…..Ughhh.
We are keeping Matt inside more hoping to avoid prednisone this year but I think it is unavoidable. Gave him Benadryl only to find out very quickly that something was not right. Turns out the one I bought had red dye in it and he is allergic so double Ughhhhhh. Switched him to Claritin daily and he still is itchy but better. Bad thing is every time he comes in contact with the grass or the heat the rash comes back so he is indoor more then out for now.
Oh and Ginger has glaucoma now in her “good” eye so we have been dealing with that too. Animals…always something but I love my fur babies.

Celebrated Mother’s Day! Such a fun day!!!
~
Went to a Luncheon for fundraiser opportunities for the school.

Helping with a school play at my son’s old elementary.
That is all you get to see cause it is highly top secret. Muhahahaha!!
~
Oh and the best news ever. Went to my son’s ortho appointment thinking he was getting a refinement to his treatment and his Orthodontist said nope he is done. Woohoo no more invisalign.
The tech said no ever does the happy/celebration dance with her around the office and Bub being the good sport was like well I will.
I hope it does not take me another month to blog but if I am not back til the beginning of June forgive me it’s a busy month!
