I saw a post this morning in a photography group I am in on FB where they used this Tutorial from YouTube to edit a picture. I usually just make small adjustments or use actions or presets cause I am lazy LOL but I decided to try my hand at it with this photo of Bub I took when we went to the nature reserve.

I don’t have full Photoshop just Photoshop Elements so I could not do everything he did but I think it turned out pretty good.

Happy Valentines Day

Spoiling my guys today with some goodies. I am also going to make heart shaped cinnamon rolls for breakfast, make a chocolate pie and a nice seafood dinner. We don’t go out cause I am not all about a crowd on Valentines day.

This year instead of buying wrapping paper I decided to use a heart shaped box that had chocolate in it that I saved from several years back cause it was so fancy and Valentine tissue paper. I think it makes it more fun then just regular wrapping paper.

I also did not go for the normal candy at Target or Walmart. I went over to Home Goods this past weekend with my Mom and perused their food section. I do this at Christmas too cause they always have fun stuff and chocolates from different countries.

Penumbral Lunar Eclipse

On Friday I wanted to go out and try to take pictures of the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse even though I was feeling like crap thanks to the man cold that will not leave my house .

They are not that great but I am pretty dang proud of myself cause they actually resemble the moon and not a blob!

Watcha Cookin’

Our Game day snacks this past Sunday consisted of

Chocolate Chip Coconut Cookies (recipe from Playz With Food)

And Cheeseburger Potato Skins made with farm rich potato skins. (recipe from Farm Rich website)

We also had some sausage salsa cheese dip and chips but I did not get a picture of it. It is so easy peasy though you put cooked & drained jimmy dean sausage, cubed Velveeta cheese (1/2 of a big block or one of the regular size ones) and a regular jar of salsa in the crock pot on low and stir occasionally until it is well blended and your done! It is our favorite dip.

It was a pretty chill day and I was so stuffed that when my hubby made sriracha chicken drumsticks for dinner I could not even eat them! I am 99.9% sure this is the recipe he uses: Honey Sriracha Chicken. But since I am never in the kitchen when he makes it I can only go by when he asks me where certain ingredients are. LOL

I received a coupon to buy a free package of farm rich snacks from bzz agent but all opinions are my own and those cheeseburger potato skins are soo stinkin’ good. The meat alone could be used on hamburger buns kinda like a manwich but cheeseburger style!

Mother Nature Is So Moody

This past week was literally beautiful.

Mid 70’s, sun shining, birds singing you could here the “Sound Of Music” playing….

I was outside taking picture of all of our trees and flowers blooming.

And it is supposed to be back in the 70’s tomorrow. No wonder the hubs started getting another head cold..

So I am just over here holding my breath & hoping I don’t get it.
