Maple Holistics Argan Oil Shampoo Review
Maple Holistics was kind enough to send me out another shampoo to review. This one is the Argan Oil Shampoo and I have been using it almost the entire month of December.
It contains 6 oils and the benefits from the site are:
Can Build Thick, Strong, Luscious Locks.
Nourishes Hair And Scalp.
Rejuvenates Hair For Softer Tresses.
Moisturizes for Hydrated, Softened Hair.
Has The Potential To Repair Damaged, Brittle, Dry Hair.
Can Aid In Stopping Hair Loss.
Helps Make Hair More Manageable.
I must say this one worked out way better for a everyday shampoo then the Tea Tree shampoo did for me from my last review . Plus it works so well paired with the Silk18 conditioner which I am obsessed with…did I mention it smells like yellow cake batter you need it go put it in your cart now!!!! My hair feels soft and smooth even when I don’t put extra product in it before blow drying.
The Argan Oil Shampoo smells like candy to me. I even had my parents grab some ribbon candy from Cracker Barrel for research purposes so I could see if that is what it smelled like but that wasn’t it…
It reminds me of the candy in my Grandma’s candy dish and she used to have ribbon candy but also that Christmas mix like this:
So maybe the mixture of the two is what I am smelling. Anywho it smells like candy! Are ya’ll seeing a theme my shampoo smells like candy, my conditioner smells like cake, my body wash smells like coconuts or fruit loops…I want to smell like food people don’t judge me!!
Overall I definitely say you should try the Argan Oil shampoo if you are looking for a new one and most definitely get the Silk18 to go with it! Why isn’t it in your cart already!!! And if the incentive that it smells like yummy food & makes your hair as soft as a babies bottom doesn’t make you want to buy it they also donate $1 to The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence when you purchase either of these products and I just think that is totally awesome!!
They have page on their site so you can try their products as well. Just go to their site HERE and fill out the form.
Hayley also linked me to their blog and they have an article on there about Derma Rolling anyone ever tried it? Apparently after derma rolling your skin is able to better absorb products therefore helping with premature aging, hyperpigmentation, pore size, hair loss, acne scars, stretch marks and lots more. I have to say I would be too scared to attempt that on my face but on my stretch marks heck yeah sign me up. Well all but 4 which are my blessing marks/tiger stripes and represent my miracle man child and my 3 angel babies but the rest of the other bazillion that look like Freddy Krueger got ahold of me well they can skidaddle with a quickness!!
I hope you all have a great Friday and a great New Years weekend!

Ipsy Bag December 2017
The theme is snow globe and the bag is pretty this month still not my favorite but better then last months for sure!
I received:
A Luxie Beauty Precision Shader Onyx brush 239. As I have said in past Ipsy bags these are my favorite brushes to get. They are super soft and I love every single one I have received. So if you are looking to buy new brushes I would definitely recommend them!! Retails for $14.00
First Aid Beauty face cleanser. I pretty much have my favorite facial cleanser which is the Murad Anti-Aging Time Release Acne Cleanser. I freaking love that stuff so I don’t veer away from it very often cause my skin gets hella annoyed. Having said that this cleanser does get good reviews on their site. Retails for $20.00 (IPSY1217)
Trestique mini brow pencil in the shade Americano. This is a really good brow pencil I just wish it had a spooly on the mini cause the full size is double sided with a spooly/brow gel on the other side. It is small enough to throw in your purse or overnight bag for holiday parties though. Retails for $24.00 (IPSYWINTER17)
NYX slide on pencil in the shade golden bronze. This is really pretty especially for the holidays! Retails for $8.00
And last is a Meech & Mia loose eyeshadow pigment in the shade white. This is very pretty but you have to put a sticky base down if you want it to have any lasting power. Retails for $11.50
Here are the last three items swatched.
Happy Monday

Maple Holistics Shampoo & Conditioner Review
Maple Holistics reached out to me several weeks ago to try some of their products and since I am all about natural hair care I was like sign me up. I decided to go with their tea tree oil shampoo since my hair can be oily and is sensitive. I also got their silk 18 natural hair conditioner as well. I have been using them since November 8th so I think that has given me plenty of time to have some thoughts on these two products.
The Degrease Tea Tree Oil Shampoo has a very natural woodsy scent to me. It kind of reminds me of frankincense even though there is none in it so it must be the rosemary mixed with the tea tree & lavender that is giving off that vibe. Either way I personally like the scent. I used it for a week with the silk 18 conditioner and for some reason it made my hair over produce oil. I can usually get away with washing my hair every other day but could not with this combo so I switched back to my regular coconut shampoo and used it with the silk 18 conditioner and that worked perfect. I do still like the tea tree oil shampoo though but more for a clarifying shampoo so I have been using it once a week to get any build up off my hair.
The Silk 18 Natural Hair Conditioner is definitely my favorite. It straight up smells like yellow cake batter and makes my hair so soft. This might be replacing my all time favorite Desert Essence coconut conditioner and ya’ll know how much I love that stuff. A bonus that I just realized while perusing their site is for every bottle sold Maple Holistics donates $1 to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. How awesome is that!!!
They have page on their site so you can try their products as well. Just go to their site HERE and fill out the form.
Sorry for two posts today but while I was grabbing links for this post I saw they were having a sale on their site for Cyber Monday and I did not want anyone to miss out if they wanted to take advantage.
Happy Monday again
November Ipsy Bag
I honestly think the bag this month was not that pretty and they said you could use it for a night out…I’m gonna go with a big fat NO on that one!!
The first item was the Bridgewater Candle Company sweet grace hand cream. The scent of this was way to strong. I put it on my hands before bed and even after my shower the next day I could still smell the perfume scent it has. So it was a no for me but I sent it to my sis-n-law and she loves it. So if you like sweet/spicy/floral scents that are strong and last forever then this might be right up your alley. Full size retails for $12.00 (IPSYBRIDGEWATER)
Next up is this collab between artist Lisa Frank and Glamour Dolls. It is a bronzer in the shade bitten & bronzed and is a matte bronzer. The packaging is just the cutest plus I really like the bronzer so definitely a keeper!! It retails for $4.99 but is currently sold out.
I also received a Tarte Amazonian clay 12 hour blush in the shade Feisty which is a dusty rose. I swore I had this shade in another name but when I looked at them side by side they were a shade off of each other. Either way this is definitely the type of shade I use in the winter months so I like it! Retails for $29 but they are on sale for $20 today and of course I could not find this shade on their site.
I got a Manna Kadar Cosmetics HD perfecting powder. It’s good but not a Makeup Forever HD powder good if ya know what I mean. I like it enough to use it up though. Full size retails for $29.00 (IPSY2017)
Lastly I received the Bang Beauty lip gloss in the shade spice. This is my kind of gloss it smells good, the color is perfect and it is not sticky at all. It retails for $18.00 (IPSY20)

Wordy Wednesday (Halloween)
I made my son into Pennywise this year and spent pretty much the end of September through the day before Halloween making his costume. I watched a bazillion tutorials and even when I was half way through his makeup the day of which took 5 hoursstill thought this isn’t gonna turn out how I want it too, but it did and he was a hit in our friends graveyard. We took inspiration from both movies and the book so that is why he has multi colored balloons, more redish hair and his costume is a combo of regular clown meets old harlequin clown.
He looks like a one of my friends animatronics in this picture. LOL
I decided to have a little fun with some of the pictures I took and place him in some composites. Thanks to some guidance from one of my FB photography groups I perfected them and I am pretty proud of myself. LOL
Background for this picture was free from Santana Dykas in my FB photography group.
I know this post is a little late but I hope you all had a Happy Halloween
